What it does
It runs PrismML’s Ternary Bonsai 2 2B on the phone with Seinari’s own engines. The app carries several engines (CPU, Vulkan and OpenCL on the GPU, and the Hexagon DSP where the phone has one) and uses the fastest one that reproduces the reference model’s output exactly on that phone. On phones we have measured it starts on the known best engine; on others it times them in the first few seconds and keeps checking in the background.
On first launch it downloads the model once (429 MB, from Hugging Face) and checks its checksum. After that the chat runs on the phone: what you type is not sent anywhere.
Installing
Open the downloaded file on the phone. Android will ask you to allow installs from this source (your browser or file manager): allow it, then tap Install. If you had an earlier build installed, this one updates it in place.
